He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Elmer and Elizabeth A. Elmer (Wendt) of Bonner Springs, KS; and his grandparents, Matthew, Marjorie Elmer, Otto and Gladys Wendt.
He is survived by: his son Cody Elmer; and his brothers, Jeffrey Elmer (Jeanne) and Michael Elmer (Carleen). He is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
