It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Meints of Tonganoxie, Kansas, born in Easton, Kansas, who passed away on February 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Meints and Lillian Meints (Moeller); his wives, Ruby Grantz and Betty Hyde; his son Richard Joe; and his siblings, Robert, Ethelyn Wager, Gertrude Dunlap and Carolyn Pantle.

He is survived by: his children, Wanda Kay Knight of Snohomish, WA, Lorna Plake (Brian), Kenneth Meints (Melanie) and Marvin Meints (Pam); and his sister Shirley Hand (Stanley). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas due to complications of Covid-19 Richard and his twin brother were born at Easton, Kansas on June 22, 1927.
