Phylles Barker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 82, Phylles Barker of Tonganoxie, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Phylles may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Phylles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Victor Connell Sr. and Novella Mae Connell (Caton); and her husband Ronald Coy Barker. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Piersee-Watson (Scott), Lisa Dent (Scott), Tonganoxie and Jack Piersee (Diane) of Lee's Summit; her brother David Victor Connell Jr. (Tauna); and her nephew David Victor Connell III (Tami). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hadley Funeral Home (405 E Benton St, Windsor, MO 65360). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (900 Jackson St, Warsaw, MO 65355).
