It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oscar Ray Johnson of Tonganoxie, Kansas, born in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles and Hazel Johnson (Donaghey); his wife Marjorie E. Johnson; his granddaughter Bobbi Lynn McDonald; his children, Larry Ray Johnson of Eudora, KS, Carol Ann Johnson of Kansas City, KS and Sandra Lea Lewandowski of Tonganoxie, KS; and his siblings, Charles Henry Johnson Jr. of Kansas City, KS, Fred Johnson of Jane, MO, Gary Johnson of Lowell, AR and Betty Cordill of Tonganoxie, KS. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in his name to the Tonganoxie VFW Post #9271.
