It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maura Alicia Mendoza of Tonganoxie, Kansas, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Armando Ruiz and Alba Ruiz (Alvarez); her son Edgar Mendoza; her great grandchild Matthew Fladung; and her husband Jose Benigno.
She is survived by: her children, Jose Benigno "Nino" (Colleen), Eduardo (Flory), Daniel (Amy) and Carolina Marrs (Roger) of Tonganoxie, KS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
