She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rieke and Alice Rieke (Creten). She is survived by: her children, Richard Joseph Thoele (Dee) of Spring Hill, KS, Jeffrey Daniel Thoele (Sheila) of LaCygne, KS and Monica Lynn Gee (Shaun); and her grandchildren, Jacob Thoele, Rachel Thoele, Hannah King, Joshua Thoele, Noah Gee and Danielle Davis. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Quisenberry Funeral Home (604 E 4th St, Tonganoxie, KS 66086).
