Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kent Quarles of Tonganoxie, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 85, on November 8, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Winston and Jessica Lee Quarles (Ford); and his wife Lenora Quarles. He is survived by: his son Kent Jonathan Quarles; his siblings, Robert, Jesse, Percy C. Quarles and Maretta Warder; his children, Keith of Tonganoxie, Scott Quarles (Kori) of Tonganoxie, Deborah Holloway (Teri), Jacqueline Coleman of Kansas City, MO and Tresea Quarles; his stepchildren, Danyale McDonald of Atlanta, GA, Victor McDonald (Lori) of Midland, TX, Deidre Brown of Oklahoma City, OK and Traci McDonald of Bonner Springs, KS; and his sister Claudia Woods of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Kent Jonathan Quarles Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O First State Bank and Trust, Tonganoxie.
