He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Steckline and Helen Steckline (Walters); his wife June Steckline (Davis); his sons, Gerald Steckline Jr. (Jerry), Kevin Steckline, Shawn Steckline and Michael Steckline; his stepsons, Edward Lamb of Des Moines, IA and Paul Lamb; and his siblings, Terry Steckline of Flower Mound, TX, Arlene Rome, Carol Einsel, Sharon Sterling and Kathy Ostrom. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
