With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Jean Cross Sr. of Tonganoxie, Kansas, born in Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on March 21, 2021 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis Jean Cross Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Cross and Goldie Cross (Tharp); his wife Mary Cross; his siblings, Chuck Cross, Barbara Ranney and Pat Zuel; his granddaughter April Tate Kelly; and his great grandchild Austin Cross.
He is survived by: his children, Francis Jean Cross Jr. of Richmond, MO, Gerald "Jerry" Lee Cross of Dallas, TX and Joy Tiner of Bonner Springs, KS; and his sister Kathy Rusconi of Kearney, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 11 great great-grandchildren.
The family asks that anyone attending the service wear a mask and social distance.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donation to the Tonganoxie Cemetery Association to help with the perpetual care of the Hubbel Hill Cemetery.
