She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Story and Jean Story (Detra); her husband Charles H. Welsh; her brother Gary Story; and her stepchildren, Thomas Welsh and Susan Oberlin.
She is survived by: her siblings, Neal Story and Judy Rynearson; and her children, Robert VanSchoelandt (Anna) of Lansing, KS, Lori Hill Tonganoxie (Steve), Brian VanSchoelandt (Alicia) and Charles Welsh (Jackie). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and over 50 great-grandchildren.
