He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kessler and Alice Kessler (Weidmeyer); his daughter Jonni Kessler; and his siblings, Curt Kessler, Roger Kessler, Shirley Hitchcock, Carol Staelns and Earl Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Deanne Kessler (Akers); his children, Scott of Denver, CO, John Kessler (Katie) of Colorado Springs, CO, Matthew Kessler (Jenny), Daniel Kessler (Jennie) of Northern McLouth, KS and Kelly Noble of Eudora, KS; and his sister Lois Taczala of Houston, TX. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
