She was predeceased by: her father Jack Campbell; and her brother-in-law Rodney Yates. She is survived by: her husband Charles Yates; her son Colby Yates; her mother Patricia Usher of Tonganoxie; her stepfather Raymond Usher of Tonganoxie; her sisters, Pamela Purkett, Richard Purkett of Lansing, Teresa Glardon of Tonganoxie, Shana Roberts and Eric Roberts of Tonganoxie; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Blank of Lawrence and Marilyn Ousdahl of Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the KU Cancer Center through KU Endowment or to the KC Hospice House.
