He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis "Jack", Sr. and Margie Lois Colburn Himpel. He is survived by: his children, Jill Shaw (Carlo) of Scottsdale, AZ and David Himpel (Katie); his siblings, Jack Himpel, Jr., Mark Himpel (Debbie), Jeff Himpel (Jacki), Georgina Bellman of Winslow, AZ, Beverly Wiles (Sam) of Tonganoxie, Susan Herrstrom (Jim) of Tonganoxie, Diane Bretthaur (Jerry) of Tonganoxie and Bobbi McClellan (Mike) of Tonganoxie; and his grandchildren, Kevin Shaw, Ethan Shaw, Owen Shaw, Henry Shaw, Paisley Himpel and Nolan Himpel.
