He is survived by: his children, Jeff Wheeler (Karen) of Chanute, Kansas, Sharene White (Kyle) of Oxford, Kansas and Greg Wheeler (Kim) of Paola, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Abby Church, Lindsey Peters, Gabe Sheerer, Katie Meek, Nick Wheeler, Hunter Wheeler, Cole Wheeler and Jessica House; and his siblings, Charles Wheeler of Galesburg, KS, Sara Essig of Thayer, KS, Mary Stevenson of Gridley, KS, Sue Bean of Chanute, KS, Gary Wheeler of Chanute, KS and Steve Wheeler of Thayer, KS..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thayer Christian Church (8495 Dorn Rd, Thayer, KS 66776). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
