He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Poppe and Marie Poppe; his children, Timothy and Rhonda; his sisters, Arlene Bohling and Lenetta Louise Poppe; and his brother-in-law Lyle Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Lunzmann; his children, Carol Tietjen of Hardy, NE, Kenny Poppe (Kristi) of Byron, NE and Lori Fayle (Rick) of Deshler, NE; his grandchildren, Dalen Tietjen (Darcie), Kendra Tietjen, Ashley Fayle, Angel Fayle, Lexi Fayle, Nicholas Poppe and Katelyn Poppe; his great grandchild Baylee Fowler; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dakota and McKenzie Breuer; his great great grandchild Clay Henderson; his siblings, Maxine Watkins of Chester, NE, Phyllis Harms (Larry) of Lincoln, NE, Marvin Poppe (Joyce) of Chester, NE, Melvin Poppe (Lorie) of Sutton, NE and Richard Poppe of Byron, NE; and his brother-in-law Loren Bohling of Byron, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
