He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Schmidt and Hermine Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Pat; and his daughters, Kathy Haralson (Garry) and Teri Griffiths (Lu). He is also survived by three granddaughters, three grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and a niece.
