Galen O. McCrary Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2024, at the age of 84, Galen O. McCrary of Tecumseh, Kansas, born in Lubbock, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Galen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Galen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orby McCrary and Gladys Faye McCrary (Britton). He is survived by: his wife Mary McCrary of Tecumseh, KS.; his children, Kelly McCrary (Kathy) of Springfield, MO, Gail Lyda (Dennis) of Overbrook, KS and Troy McCrary (Cindy) of Berryton, KS; his siblings, Lela McKee of Brownfield, TX and Charles McCrary (Lois) of Lebanon, TN; and his brother-in-law Terry Gropp (Caecilia) of Scott City, KS.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southeast Chapel (2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka, KS 66605). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dove Southeast Chapel (2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka, KS 66605).
