He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman O. Reeves and Betty J. Reeves (LeMay); his wife Helen Ptacek; and his brothers, Louis "Delbie" Reeves and Robbin Reeves.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Reeves of El Dorado, Julie Sanborn (Jeff) of Abilene, Ala, Lori Reeves (Marilyn Garcia) of Sylvan Grove, Kim Alexander (Wynn) of Coldwater, Todd Reeves (Cherish) of Scandia, Scott Reeves of Sylvan Grove and Pam Johanek of Andover. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
