She was predeceased by: her husband Quitman "Pete" Banks; her sons, Glynn "Butch" Kennison, Jr. and Steven A. Kennison; her granddaughter Susan A. Saylor; her brother Clifford L. Barnes, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Lester Albritton.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa G. White of Hannibal, Recinda J. Hinds of Brunswick, Robert M. Kennison (Cindy) of Sycamore, David K. Kennison (Andrea) of Naples and Thomas A. Kennison (Mary) of Claxton; and her siblings, Maggie B. Lee (Raynell) of Waycross, Vera E. Albritton of Hoboken, Patricia J. Norton (Billy) of Waynesville, Janet M. McCarty (Edsel) of Meridian and James Robert Barnes (Barbara) of Uvalda. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
