He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Boomis and Ora Ollie Boomis (Grant); and his siblings, Martha, Judy and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his son Doug Boomis (Donna Reynolds); and his grandchildren, Morgan and Nathan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
