He is survived by: his parents, George Helmerichs and Hilsa Helmerichs (Evers); his wife Ethelene; his children, Lola Detweiler (Wayne), Valerie Crawford (John), Velda Meyer (Steve), Harlo Helmerichs (Brenda) and Jim Helmerichs (Janet); his siblings, Johanna McMahon and Andrew; his brother-in-law Don McMahon; and also, Janice Bingham, Allen Miller and Lena Miller. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
