She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Glen and Reba Wreatha Whitmer (Stanard); her husband Dale E. Yount; her stepson Robert "Skip" Yount; and her siblings, Jack Whitmer, Burton Conard, Dorothy Lacy and Vida Klein.
She is survived by: her daughter Katherine McBryde of Baxter Springs, Kansas; her stepsons, Dale "Duff" (Debbie Yount) of Lakin and Roger (Nikki Yount) of Colorado; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Luce, Teresa Scherer, Timothy Stangl, Christopher Stangl, Justin Yount, DeeDee Yount and Patrick Yount. She is also survived by four great great-granchildren.
