She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert G. Anderson and Katie V. Anderson (Bird); her husband Preceding; her brother Charles Lange, Jr.; her children, Dana Leonard II of Overland Park, Darren Leonard (Stephanie) of Garden City and Devin Leonard (Cindy) of Benton; her grandchildren, Tiffany Leonard (David Leaton), Christina McMillen (Hunter), Courtney Britton (Conagher) and Hayley Leonard; and her great grandchildren, Serenity and Haven.
She is survived by: her former spouse Dana Ralph Leonard.
In honor of Marie's love for animals, memorials are suggested to the KC Pet Project in care of the funeral home.
