He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bucl and Hedy Bucl; and his wife Janet Sullivan. He is survived by: his sons, Casper (Jenni) of McKinney, TX, Lucas (Lindsay) of Overland Park, KS, Sheldon of Overland Park, KS and Colby of Lenexa, KS; his siblings, Craig, Bradley, Bryan and Diana Sunley; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Owen, Carter, Jackson and Leo.

He was an active member and served on the boards of the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants, Kansas Association of Independent Crop Consultants, and the Foundation for Environmental Agriculture Education.
