He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Sawatzky; his children, Dylan, Savanna, Megan, Zylah and Colten; his mother Elena Berg of Sublette; his siblings, Benny Berg (Anna) of Alberta, Canada, Agnes Peters (Abe) of Sublette and Christina Redekop (Johnny) of Mexico; and his father Wilhelm Berg.
