He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morris and Esther Morris (Day); his wife Dvonne Hill; his son Kent; his grandson Ryan Ausborn; and his siblings, Charles, Paul, Jeannette, Martha, Carolyn, Mary Lou and Joanne.

He is survived by: his children, DeAnn Hammer (Steve) of Sublette and Kevin Morris (Becky) of Sublette; his grandchildren, Jerrad Hammer (Amanda) of Rapid City, Justin Hammer (Marla) of Sublette, Janessa Gilbert (Bryon) of Overland Park and Cody Ausborn (Paige) of Topeka; his brother John Morris of North Liberty, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Dennis Hill (Georgia) of Sublette.

Memorials are suggested to Haskell County EMS, Pride of Life, or the Sublette Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
