Dorothea York Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothea York of Sublette, Kansas, who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna Hawkins (Pittman) and Asa Gilbert Bass; her children, Dorothy Card of Iowa, Jan Riddick of Lamar, CO, Shirley Appleton of Topeka, KS, Douglas York (Cynthia) of Colorado Springs, CO and Peter York (Roberta) of Sublette, KS; her husband Milo York; and her siblings, Martha Jane Williamson, Rachel Bass, Gilbert, James and Samuel Bass. She was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
