He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Armagost and Anna Armagost (White); and his siblings, Gerald Armagost, Charles Armagost and Geraldine Horstman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Murdock of Wichita; his children, Steve Armagost (Deann) of Andover and Lori Connell (Todd) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Kristi Jacobs (Matt), Clint Cooper (Samantha), Drew Armagost (Alex), Kyle Armagost (Jenna), Nikki Sylvester (Jake), Amanda Connell and Melissa Connell; his sister Mary Dexter of Ponca City, OK; and his sister-in-law Jane Armagost of Wichita. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
