She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Brecht and Martha Amelia Brecht (Wehrenberg); and her siblings, Henry A. Brecht, Martin Brecht, Milton Brecht, Wayne Brecht, Anna Bastin, Lena Rucker and Helen Green Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Dean W. Schroer; her children, Linda Schroer of Wichita, Pamela Schienbein (Gerald) of Carseland, Alberta and Ace Schroer (Debbie) of Strong City; her grandchildren, Mitchell Schroer (Kristy), Ryan Schroer (Tricia), Seth Schroer (Melanie), Amber Rausch (Justin), Grant Schienbein (Ardena), Jill DeCaire (Clint) and Dean Schienbein (Erin); her great grandchildren, Clayton, Katelyn Schroer, Braydon, Britney, Cooper, Carson Schroer, Victor Schroer, Havyn Schroeder, Courtney Butter, Khora Burright (Trevor), Luke, Jesse, Anna, Jacob Schienbein, Levi and Joshua DeCaire; her sister Selma Nelson of Bolivar, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Julia Brecht, Nellie Brecht and Pearl Brecht. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
