She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Carpenter and Ida Carpenter (Piper); and her siblings, Morris Gene Carpenter, Juanita Pierce, Yvonne Allen, Anna Starns, Gus Carpenter Jr., Janet Remschner, Gerald Carpenter and Richard "Dick" Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Scott of Cottonwood Falls and Nancy Ast (Bob) of Emporia; her grandchildren, Quinton Scott of Columbia, MO and Nicole Williams of Dewey, OK; and her great grandchildren, Jolie Scott and Conner Scott.
