She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bates and Elva Bates (Eaton); her grandfather Robert H. Bates; her husbands, Harold E. Bischoff and Hank (Hank); her siblings, Kenneth, Max, Jack, Cleora Pulice and Virginia Saunders; her nephews, Gary Bates and Jack Pulice; her niece Kay Tittel; and her close friend Rusty.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Mike Saunders (Trish) of Colorado Springs, CO, Bob Saunders (Helena) of Stockton, KS, Douglas Bates (Lisa) of Cheyenne, WY, Jason Bates of Cheyenne, WY, Paul Bates, Brian Bates, Judy Pulice and Cathy Rodriguez (Johnny) of Carlsbad, NM; her sister-in-law Mary Bates of Cheyenne, WY; and her stepdaughters, Claire Liebe and Eda Baker. She is also survived by numerous great-nephews, great-nieces, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home (723 N 1st St, Stockton, KS 67669).
