He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hale and Nora Hale (Murphy); his son Dennis Dwight; his wife Adeline; his son-in-law John Yakish; his siblings, Williard and Naomi Holliman; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Holliman, Henry Czapiewski, Junior Carlson, Junia Hale, Julie Carlson and Dolly Czapiewski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Dea, Lorna Lynne, Debra Colburn of Garden City and Lorna Riffel (Jim Rogers) of Stockton; his brother Don Hale (Phyllis) of Longmont, CO; and his grandchildren, H. J. Colburn of LaCrosse, Bethany Howard (Casey) of Garden City, Denison Colburn of Garden City, Thomas Yakish (April) of Woodston and Beau Riffel (Terra) of Freemont, NE. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
