He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Olive Morin Roy; his daughter Janice; and his brothers, Ronald and Allan.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Jackson of Erie, CO; his daughter Joyce Lawson (Richard) of Erie, CO; his siblings, Duane Roy, Joan Rader of Littleton, CO, Linda Roy Cross (Randy) of Tucson, AZ, Roger Roy (Desra) of Stockton, Cheryl Calvin (David) of Stockton and Rodney Roy (Christi) of Hays, KS; and his sister-in-law Gerry Roy of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (722 Main St, Stockton, KS 67669). A rosary was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Vigil Service & Rosary. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (722 Main St, Stockton, KS 67669). A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the same location.
