He was predeceased by: his parents, George Winters and Rose Winters (Folsom); his wife Elizabeth Lala (Betty); his stepfather Victor Brown; and his siblings, Viola Paulson, Billy Winters and Ivan Winters.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Winters (Jim Delaney) of Hill City and Steven Winters (Lana) of Bogue; his grandchildren, BJ Hoeting (Jean Ann), Webster, Crystal Plante (Tim), Bailey Loughrey, Norton and Stevie Winters; his great grandchildren, Sabre Riggins (Alex), Braidyn Plante (Ray Simite), Gavin Plante, Easton Plante, Cappi, Cheyenne Hoeting, Webster and Bryten Loughrey; his great great grandchildren, Zach Simite, Axen and Atlee Riggins; and his sister Georgia Buttermore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
