He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Brummer and Katherine Brummer (Simeon); his wife Bertha Hays; his children, Jill Roth (Mike) of Savannah, MO, Edward "Eddie" Brummer (Nancy) of Natoma, KS, Jennifer Brummer of Plainville, KS, Connie Brummer (Tracy) of Stockton, Jeanette Miller (Jason) of Olathe, KS and Elizabeth Selenke (Jarrod) of Peyton, CO; his grandchildren, Amber, Aja, Dalton, Hunter, Gavin, Joslyn, Liz, Joe and Kris; his great grandchildren, Piper, Taron, Garrett, Gabriella, Greyson and Gracianna; his siblings, John, Leo, Bob, Joseph, Al Brummer, Amelia Landry, Mary Payton, Alberta King, Roberta Brummer, Maxine Brummer and Eldora Stroh; and his grandsons, Eric Ouse, Allen and Austin Wolf.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked memorials to go to St. Thomas Catholic Church or Solomon Valley Manor and may be sent in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N First, Stockton, KS 67669.
