He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Arlos and Twila 'Jo' Proffitt (Fleming); and his brother Roger Proffitt. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Proffitt of Lyons; his children, Dawn Zahradnik (Zane) of Windom and Wesley Proffitt (Erin Cartwright-Harrison) of Austin, TX; his grandsons, Zander and Xavyer Zahradnik; and his brother Mike Proffitt (Marion) of California.
The family would like to request that instead of sending flowers, that memorials be given to The Father's House Church, Hutchinson, or Samaritan's Purse, Boone, NC, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
