She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jerry Tieperman; her children, Timothy (Elizabeth) and Sabra Tieperman; her grandchildren, Robin Tieperman-Nispel (Abraham) and Janice Tieperman; and her parents, Palmer Evans and Ethel Cozette Evans. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, friends, and relatives.

Memorials may be given to USD #376 for the Phyllis Tieperman Scholarship Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
