She is survived by: her children, Vickie Colston of Sterling, Brian Carpenter (Stacey) of Bloomington, IL, Tracy Carpenter of Clovis, NM, Kevin Strong and Chris Strong (Jeremy) of Lexington, KY; her siblings, Linda Blevins of Dallas, TX, Harold Welk Jr. of Hutchinson, KS, Ken Welk of Wichita, KS and Julie Blevins of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Crystal Zink (Pat) of Claflin, KS, Dustin Colston (Lindsey) of Hoisington, KS, Bailey Carpenter of Albuquerque, NM, Hunter Carpenter of Bloomington, IL and Emma Carpenter of Clovis, NM; and her great grandchildren, Kaymi and Carter Zink.
Memorials may be given to Rice Community Healthcare Foundation (for hospice care at the Rice County Hospital) or Children's Miracle Network in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
