It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ella Flickinger (Sterling, Kansas), born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fulkerson and Carrie Justice Fulkerson; and her children, James Flickinger and Catherine Flickinger Caldwell. She is survived by: her children, Janice Louise Duran (David) of Elephant Butte, NM, Norman Scott Flickinger of Sterling and Bradley Wayne Flickinger (Rhonda) of Sterling. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church, Sterling or the Sterling Public Library in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
