Larry Jacob Griffitt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 83, Larry Jacob Griffitt of Sterling, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Griffitt and Florence Griffitt (Lemmons); his son John Griffitt; and his stepsons, Jamie and William Baxter.

He is survived by: his wife Annie Griffitt (O'Connell) of Suffolk, VA; his children, Brian Griffitt of Lyons, KS, Shannon Jenson (Chris) of Farmington, MN, Danya Seuell (Mike) of Grand Junction, CO and Roxy Jacobson of Mandon, ND; and his sisters, Grace Lumpkins of Chase, KS, Deborah Konen (Mike) of Little River, KS and Pamela Keesling (Randy) of Lyons, KS. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Sterling Village (for the activity fund) or the Rice County Council on Aging in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
