It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanice Bratcher of Sterling, Kansas, born in Elk City, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl D. Thornburgh and Beatrice Bright Thornburgh; and her brother Carl Dean Thornburgh. She is survived by: her children, Dan Bratcher (Carol) of Topeka, KS, Patty Ravenstien (Jerry) of Sterling, Jan Smallwood (Carroll) of Groveland, CA, Greg Bratcher of Sterling and Barbie Kaven (Ron) of Timberon, NM; and her siblings, Jay Thornburgh, LaVerne Gaither of Lubbuck, TX, Anna Durr (Robert) of Anchorage, AK and Nelda Foust (Rex) of Amhurst, TX. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Sterling American Legion Post #128 Scholarship Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
