He is survived by: his children, Jeff Proffitt (Sherla) of Sterling, Carrie Proffitt-Zinman of Sun Lakes, AZ, Kara Fabin (Drew) of Lawrence, KS and Nicki McFarland of Hutchinson, KS; his sister Ila Linder of Sterling; his grandchildren, Anna, Nathan, Jordan, Ethan Proffitt and Zach Fabin; and his great grandchild Joanna Proffitt.
