It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Ray Wilson of Sterling, Kansas, born in Osawatomie, Kansas, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson and Georgia Wilson (Stanton); his daughter Terri Rae Wilson; and his brother Ralph Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Tracee Van Slyke (Dan) of Glide, OR, Jennifer Wilson of Murrieta, CA and Rebecca Diaz (Steve Eidson) of Sterling, KS; his sister Linda Lockey of Sterling, KS; his grandchildren, Lindsee Coke (Jeremiah), Levi Van Slyke (Rochelle) and Samuel Ray Diaz; and his nephew Matthew Beumer. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
