He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Hamous and Florence Williams Hamous; his wife Martha Fern Black; his sisters, Mary Britton and Maxine Riggs; and his nephew Mark Riggs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Frese (Daryl) of Spring Branch, TX, Karla Nemachek (Larry) of Hugoton, KS, Christie Mullikin (Ridge) of San Antonio, TX and Stacey Wilder (Bill) of Lyons, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
