He is survived by: his wife Virginia Penrod; his children, Mike Amend (Joanne) of Miami Beach, FL, Brad Amend (Amy) of El Dorado and Tina Martorana (Frank) of Castle Rock, CO; his granddaughters, Jennifer Manning (Justin) and Clarissa O'Neill; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Dawson, Dalton and Kaylee; and his sister Connie Green of Sterling, KS..
