He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene "Pat" Nelson and Katherine Nelson Cox (Herber); his brothers-in-law, David Stewart and Mike Holman; and his nephews, Jesse Holman and Morgan Stewart.
He is survived by: his significant other Cathy Lunday; his sons, Anthony Nelson (Sheena) of Pittsburg, Corey Nelson (Jessica) of Walnut and Andrew Nelson (Megan) of Walnut; his stepdaughter Cara Hill (Shane); and his sisters, Peggy Furman (Ron) of Bella Vista and Lori Holman of Moran. He is also survived by three granddaughters; three grandsons; and other friends and family.
