He was predeceased by: his adoptive father James Lester (Mary Alice Murphy); and his siblings, Oletha, Wanita, Lucille, Lorraine, Fern, Raymon, Norman and Dennis Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Ann Farthing; his daughters, Tamra Sue Brensing (Steve) of Stafford, KS and Linda Gail Neher (Ron) of Burlington, KS; his grandchildren, Cody Heckman (Amy) of Burlingame, KS, Trudy Moore (Robert) of Lavaca, AR, Holly Ferguson (Derrick) of Stafford, KS and Brad Brensing (Emily) of Olathe, KS; his great grandchildren, Jonathon Heckman, Matthew Heckman, Colby Heckman, Dakota Moore, Kaiyah Moore, Rylee Ferguson, Reagan Ferguson, Jack Robert Brensing and Lucas Brensing; his sister-in-law Marilyn Buchele (Ken) of Emporia; and also, Haley Moore and Ryan Moore.
