He was predeceased by: his father John Swader; and his children, Judy Lynn Swader (Askew), Cynthia Jean Howells (David), Stephen Joe Swader (Kay), John Fred Swader (Lilly Sell) and Sally Kathleen Roed (Bob).

He is survived by: his friend Nicole.
