He was predeceased by: his son Mitchell Eugene "Gene" Kocher; his parents, Ulysses Floyd Kocher and Della Luella Hembree Kocher; and his siblings, Clarence, Alta, Pete, Clyde and Ike Kocher.
He is survived by: his son Jason Kocher (Jennie); his grandchildren, Levi Blevins (Bridget), Cheyenne Rice (John), Montana Kocher, Kaitlyn Sherrill (Stephen) and Kenton Sherrill; and his great grandchildren, Skylee, Brooklyn, Niah and Kamden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.
