She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmidt and Anna Schmidt (Schultz); her former spouse Glenn Hawver; and her husband Raymond Burnette. She is survived by: her children, Lyle Hawver, Rex Hawver (Penny) and Glenda Hernandez; her grandchildren, Amy Saum (Joe), Jeremy Hawver, Erin Balfour (Neal), Travis Hawver (Kit), Richard Hernandez (Dalton) and Seaton Hernandez; her great grandchildren, Christopher Saum, Madison Saum, Tylar Wertenberger, William Balfour, Layla Balfour, Morgan Hawver, Elliott Hernandez and Hensley Hernandez; her siblings, Grace Clothier, Alvin Schmidt, Ruth Morelan, Ann Spencer, Dorothy Anderson, Norman Schmidt and Wiley Schmidt; her son Troy Hawver; and her grandson Nicholas Hawver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Stafford First United Methodist Church or the Stafford County Hospital in care of Minnis Chapel.
